The idea of Fischer LMC was created when Brianne Fischer met Julia Soyers at Grameen Foundation in 2012. Brianne joined Grameen’s legal team, where Julia served as general counsel, and Julia and Brianne quickly bonded over their shared passion to serve the legal needs of mission driven organizations. Over the course of years, with this shared passion in mind, Brianne and Julia developed ideas about starting a Legal Management Consulting firm that could carry out this important mission.

  

In 2018, Brianne founded Fischer LMC (Legal Management Consulting) and undertook a few small projects.  She quickly realized the value and need non profits had for comprehensive support that typically had been reserved for in-house legal teams.

As society was adjusting to Covid, the DC community saw an influx of refugees in need of basic human needs. Wanting to address this need and others, Brianne transitioned from a successful career as in-house counsel to work exclusively at Fischer LMC,  so she could address the obvious and significant gap in practical legal services for small, mission-driven businesses and nonprofits in her community.

Today, Fischer LMC stands dedicated to providing affordable, practical legal resources and peace of mind to organizations striving to meet their legal obligations.  We currently serve over 15 non-profit and mission driven organizations.

 

As we continue to evolve, our core mission remains steadfast: to support, to guide, and to empower small businesses and nonprofits in fulfilling their legal obligations.
